Our highly experienced, fully qualified team of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians are committed to meeting the individual needs of each patient. We know how important both your eye health and personal appearance is to your total well being. We aim to cater for all possible ocular needs promptly and efficiently. Our HISTORY
Vision Care Centre - Langley was established in 1995 by Ben Campen who has been a qualified Dispensing Optician and Contact Lens Fitter since 1959. Drawing from the formula of service and quality, he set up a one-of-a-kind full service Optical with a manufacturing and edging laboratory.
In May 2006 the Vision Care Centre was renovated and successfully expanded to include Optometric services by
Dr. Gurjeet Bains. We are proud to continue and evolve an optical practice that has been serving its’ patients eyecare and eyewear needs in Langley for over 15 years.
We have a very service-orientated practice, and for 12 years in a row we have been voted and awarded by Langley's residents as " Best of the Best ” !!

Our Staff
Dr. Gurjeet Bains, BSc, MSc, OD, MCOptom
Dr. Bains who is originally from the UK graduated from Optometry School over 15 years ago. She started her career in Hospital Optometry, where she worked alongside world renowned Ophthalmologists in the U.K.'s largest teaching hospital [Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham]. She also has considerable experience in private practice, and has worked in a 250 year old private Optometry practice which holds a Royal warrant for serving the British Royal family.
“The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the familiar faces come into the exam room each year and being able to help them maintain great eye health and vision,” says Dr. Bains. She undergoes continuous education and training to keep abreast of the latest developments and instrumentation.
She has 3 children and when she finds the time away from work she enjoys gardening, sewing and travelling.

Dr. F. Vahidi BSc, OD
Dr. Vahidi is a graduate of University of British Columbia where she received her Bachelor of Science in 2003. She went on to complete the Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of Clinical Optometry, and has a special interest in Ocular Disease Management, Contact Lens fitting, and Low Vision.
Dr. Vahidi is an active member of the Canadian Optometric association, American Optometric Association, and BC Association of Optometrists. Originally from North Vancouver, she has been a great addition to Vision Care Centre and to the Langley community.

At Vision Care Centre we value our staff. Without their hard work and commitment we wouldn’t be able to provide the excellent level of service that we are known for.
Our group of Licensed Dispensing Opticians, Optometric/Dispensing Assistants, and Ophthalmic Lab Technicians have the knowledge and skills to provide you with recommendations for all your eyewear needs. Because our office enjoys access to a wide range of excellent products to suit all budgets, along with the latest technology in lenses, and the most current styles in eyeglass frames, our opticians will assist you in making the best choices to suit you.
Regular training is an integral part of our staff's continual development, and in addition to our own in-house training, we use outside specialists to help train staff in many key areas. This ensures that our eyecare service is of the highest standard.
Our dedicated and friendly team of professionals and support staff help make the practice what it is today.
